We don’t just prepare wrestlers to win medals; we prepare young men and women to stand as witnesses of Christ wherever life takes them.

Advanced Travel Team (Grades 3-8)

Season Start- Date November 3rd

Season End Date- Georgia State Tournament TBD - (March 13th)

Practice Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00pm-9:00pm

Our Advanced Travel Team is built for athletes with prior wrestling experience who are ready to take their training and competition to the next level. This program challenges wrestlers to refine their skills, strengthen their mindset, and pursue excellence both on and off the mat.

At Angry Peach Wrestling Center, we challenge the norm by combining elite wrestling instruction with a Christ-centered environment. More than just athletes, we are developing disciples of Jesus Christ who are equipped to live boldly in their faith. Through intentional mentorship, prayer, and daily accountability, athletes learn how to grow in spiritual maturity while striving for greatness in wrestling.

Key focuses include:

  • Elite Skill Development – mastering advanced techniques, match strategy, and mental toughness.

  • Passion Through Hard Work – fostering a love for wrestling through discipline, perseverance, and accountability.

  • Discipleship & Leadership – teaching athletes to walk with Christ, lead by example, and carry their witness into every arena.

  • Individual Goal Setting – encouraging wrestlers to set and achieve personal performance and spiritual goals.

  • High-Level Competition – preparing athletes to win state and national titles in their age groups through consistent training and competitive opportunities.

This team also participates in dual tournament events, including but not limited to the Georgia State Duals, giving athletes valuable experience against top competition while learning to represent Christ with courage and humility.

Beginner Competition Team (Grades 1–8)

Practice Days: Tuesday/Wednesday 530pm-7:00pm

Our Beginner Competition Team is designed specifically for wrestlers with no prior experience. This program introduces athletes to the sport in a supportive, Christ-centered environment, focusing on:

  • Fundamentals of Wrestling – learning proper stance, movement, and basic techniques.

  • Match Strategy Basics – understanding how to approach competition with confidence.

  • Live Experience – building skills through participation in beginner-level tournaments.

The goal of this group is to lay a solid foundation, develop discipline, and spark a love for wrestling while helping young athletes gain valuable competition experience.
